On April 2, The Plastiki arrived at Fair Park in Dallas after being hauled for 12 days from San Francisco Bay to Fair Park, where it will be on exhibit as part of Hunt Institute's Engineering & Humanity Week starting April 6. The Plastiki is a 60-foot catarmaran made with 12,500 reclaimed plastic bottles and other biodegradable products. The boat made a four-month journey across the Pacific Ocean in 2010.
